My candle won’t light or the flame keeps going out.

Wood wicks require special care to maintain the best burn. Before you light your candle, be sure to gently pinch off any old soot or burnt wood.

My candle flame is burning really low.

If you notice that the flame of your candle seems to be rather dull and appears as if its about to go out at any moment, this could be a sign that your wick needs to be trimmed. Simply blow out the candle, wait for it to cool and then gently remove any soot buildup from the wick.

My candle is not burning all the way to the edges.

Tunneling is what happens when the wax seems to be burning only down the center of the candle. This happens because soy wax has a memory. To prevent this, the first time you light your candle be sure to allow it to burn all the way to the edges before blowing it out. This could take up to an hour but will ensure you get the most out of your purchase.

If tunneling has already occurred, carefully remove the ring of wax with a spoon or a knife and reset the wax’s memory. This is easiest if the candle has been burning for some time to allow the wax to soften.

How can I remove the leftover wax from the glassware?

Our jars are reusable! You can easily remove the wax by boiling a bit of hot water and pouring it into the glass up to its edge. As the water cools, the wax will solidify on top and can then be thrown away. You can then wash and enjoy your clean glassware; we like to use them as planters!

Are your tshirts washer/dryer safe.

Yes! All of our t-shirts are made from a preshrunk cotton blend. This allows you to toss them into the washer and dryer without fear. However, though not necessary, to maintain the quality of the shirt and design over long periods of time, hang drying is recommended!
